Introducing the Monthly Bingo Hunt

Collecting Mini Brands has always had a wonderful, slightly maddening quality to it: you never quite know what you'll find. A blind bag is a tiny gamble, a charity-shop bin is a treasure hunt, and a swap with another collector is half negotiation, half luck. That thrill of the chase is the best part of the hobby — so we built a little game to celebrate it. Say hello to the Monthly Bingo Hunt.

What is the Monthly Bingo Hunt?

On the 1st of every month, a brand-new themed bingo card appears — a 5×5 grid of twenty-five Mini Brands to track down. Everyone playing gets the same card, so you're all hunting the same little treasures at the same time. One month it might be miniature groceries; the next, tiny kitchen gadgets or sweet-shop favourites. When the month ends, the card resets and a fresh theme takes its place.

How to play

It couldn't be simpler, and it's built right on top of the collection you may already be tracking:

1. Find a match. Look at this month's card and see which of the twenty-five you already own — or head out and hunt for the rest.
2. Photograph your find. Snap a photo of your own item — your real shelf, your real find — and its square on the card lights up. A square fills the moment you add your own photo of it, so the board slowly becomes a little gallery of your collection.
3. Complete a line. Any full row, column, or diagonal is a Bingo. Fill all twenty-five squares and you've earned a Blackout — the rarest result of all.

Bingo, Blackout, and a badge to keep

There are two badges to earn each month — a Bingo Champ badge the first time you complete a line, and a Blackout Champ badge for filling the whole card. Each one is stamped with the month you earned it and stays on your profile for good. No prizes to claim, no points to spend — just pure collector bragging rights, which in this hobby are worth quite a lot.

The monthly leaderboard

If you'd like a little friendly competition, you can choose to appear on the public monthly leaderboard and see how your progress compares with fellow collectors. We keep it gentle and private by design: only your first name and your progress are ever shown, and you can switch it off again at any time. Prefer to play quietly on your own? That's perfectly lovely too — the leaderboard is entirely opt-in.

Why we made it

Most collection trackers are wonderful for organising what you have, but they can feel a bit like spreadsheets. We wanted to give the hunt a heartbeat — a reason to come back each month, to photograph the minis you're proudest of, and to feel that little spark when a square finally clicks into place. It's the part of collecting we love most, turned into a game.
