Biography
Renwal Manufacturing of New York made brightly colored hard-plastic dollhouse furniture in 3/4 inch scale, much of it with working drawers, doors and moving parts. The name is "Lawner" (the founder's name) spelled backwards.
Maker's Mark
Most pieces carry the word "RENWAL" molded into the plastic on the underside or back, usually accompanied by a molded model number. The same molds were reused for years, so the mark alone does not date a piece.
