Biography

Tynietoy was made by the Toy Furniture Shop of Providence, Rhode Island, founded by Marion Perkins and Amey Vernon. Their hand-finished 1 inch scale furniture reproduced American period antiques and is among the most prized of vintage American miniatures.

Maker's Mark

Pieces may carry a small printed paper label reading "Tynietoy," sometimes with a stylized tree device, or a stamped name. Many genuine pieces are unlabeled and are identified by their refined hand-painted finishes and documented forms.
